Arsenal Stars Primed for Euro 2024 Showdown
Arsenal fans will have plenty to look forward to at the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament, as the Gunners are set to have a record-breaking 10 players representing their respective national teams in Germany.
This figure surpasses their previous best of nine Arsenal stars who competed at Euro 2000, and is six more than the four Gunners players who featured at Euro 2020. The North London club’s impressive representation includes England trio Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and Aaron Ramsdale, as well as Scotland’s Kieran Tierney, who spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad.
Clash of Arsenal Teammates
In-form striker Kai Havertz, who scored against Tierney’s Scotland in a historic 5-1 victory for the tournament hosts, will be one of the Arsenal players hoping to put his recent club disappointment behind him. Joining Havertz will be Euro 2020 champion Jorginho, who will face off against teammate and Spain goalkeeper David Raya in a mouth-watering Group B encounter.
Other Arsenal stars set to go head-to-head include defenders Jakub Kiwior and William Saliba when Poland face France, as well as Oleksandr Zinchenko and Leandro Trossard, who will clash for Ukraine and Belgium respectively in a potentially decisive final Group E game.

Declan Rice, in particular, has been vocal about his desire for international glory, stating that only a Euro 2024 winners’ medal with England can help him overcome the pain of losing out at both Euro 2020 and in his latest Premier League campaign.
