Both the Czech Republic and Turkey will be aiming to reach the Euro 2024 knockout stages on Wednesday night, with the live coverage on talkSPORT. It’s the Turks who are in the better position heading into the game following their opening Group F win against Georgia.
Turkey sit on three points and a draw would be enough to send them through to the last-16, while a win would secure second place. Czechia remain without a victory at the tournament and need to find one if they want to stay in Germany past the group stages.

Injury concerns
Patrick Schick is a doubt for the Czech Republic after coming off injured against Georgia, and if he is to miss out, it would be a huge blow. As for Turkey, Man United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir may start again, with No.1 Mert Gunok still recovering from a knee issue. Abdulkerim Bardakci is suspended and will play no part in this game.

Czech Republic manager Ivan Hasek believes his team are up for the fight against Turkey, with a win needed to stay in Euro 2024. Hasek said:
“I don’t think anyone’s throwing in the towel. Quite the opposite – we don’t want to go anywhere. We’ll do the maximum to make sure we stay. You want to experience the Euros, the atmosphere and everything that goes with it, and to be here as long as possible.”
