The 2024 UEFA European Championship is now underway, and the continent’s top goalscorers are battling it out for glory. Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary Portuguese striker, ended the last European Championships as the top scorer, netting five goals throughout the 2020 tournament.

In third place, there is a three-way tie between England’s Alan Shearer, France’s Antoine Griezmann, and Spain’s Alvaro Morata, each with seven goals in the competition. Shearer is England’s top scorer at the Euros, while Griezmann and Morata have both starred for their respective national teams in major tournaments.

Meanwhile, multiple legendary players, including Thierry Henry, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Patrick Kluivert, are on six goals each in the Euros. Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku, who has found superb scoring form in qualifying, is also on six goals and is likely to add more this summer.
