Football News Update: Northampton Town Bolsters Roster Ahead of League One Campaign
Northampton, England, [Current Date] – Northampton Town Football Club has made significant additions to its squad in preparation for the upcoming League One season, which kicks off on August 10th.
The club has confirmed the signings of striker James Wilson and goalkeeper Nik Tzanev, both on one-year deals. Additionally, Salford forward Callum Morton has joined Northampton on a season-long loan.
“Cam is an attacking midfielder who is very competitive, he sets the tempo high and he plays with a lot of energy and power. He works well both on and off the ball, and we think he is a really good fit for us,” said Northampton boss Jon Brady.

Northampton will begin their League One campaign with a trip to Bristol Rovers on August 10th, following a 10th-place finish in the 2023-24 season.
