Tottenham Sign Sweden Defender Amanda Nilden on Permanent Deal

In a significant move for the Women’s Super League, Tottenham Hotspur have secured the permanent signing of Sweden defender Amanda Nilden. The 25-year-old, who had been on a six-month loan from Juventus, has now joined Spurs on a three-year contract, making her the club’s first permanent acquisition of the summer transfer window.

Nilden, who initially arrived at Tottenham in January, played a crucial role in helping the north London side reach their maiden FA Cup final during the 2023-24 season. The Swedish international made 10 appearances in the Women’s Super League as Spurs finished sixth in the table.

The addition of Nilden is sure to excite Tottenham fans as they eagerly await the start of the new season and the team’s continued push for success in the Women’s Super League, Champions League, and domestic cup competitions.
