Football News: Tranmere Rovers Bolster Squad with Signings of Sol Solomon and Josh Williams

In a move aimed at strengthening their squad, Tranmere Rovers have announced the signings of forward Sol Solomon and teenage midfielder Josh Williams.

Sol Solomon, 23, joins Tranmere on a one-year contract after impressing for non-league side Marine, where he helped the team secure promotion to the National League North last season, scoring an impressive 24 goals. Prior to his stint at Marine, Solomon was the record goalscorer for Jersey Bulls, finding the net 60 times in 71 appearances. Alongside Solomon, Tranmere have also secured the services of 19-year-old midfielder Josh Williams on a two-year deal. Williams joins the club after leaving Welsh side Connah’s Quay Nomads, where he made 69 appearances and even featured in the Europa League qualifiers.
