Football News: Chelsea Enquire About Barcelona Teenager Marc Guiu
In the world of football, Chelsea have emerged as the latest contenders to sign a new attacking option, with the Blues reportedly enquiring about Barcelona teenager Marc Guiu.
As Chelsea prepare for Enzo Maresca’s first season as head coach, the club is looking to bolster its attacking options. Strikers have struggled to make a significant impact at Chelsea in recent years, with Diego Costa arguably their last prolific star up front.
According to reports, the 18-year-old Guiu, who has a release clause of €6million (£5.07million), has caught the attention of Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Guiu has featured just seven times for Barcelona’s senior side, but he made a huge impact on his debut for the club, scoring the winning goal against Athletic Bilbao in October.

Chelsea’s search for a new striker or centre forward has also seen them linked with other names, such as Benjamin Sesko, who has all-but ended the possibility of a move by signing a new contract at RB Leipzig, and Aston Villa star Jhon Duran, who is admired by Maresca.
Furthermore, talkSPORT understands that the Blues have seen a £34million offer for Spanish forward Samu Omorodion rejected by Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have already completed their first signing of the summer, with Tosin Adarabioyo joining on a free transfer. The club has also opened talks with Crystal Palace for Michael Olise, who is valued at more than £60million.
