Football News Update: Diaz Denies Move to Manchester City, Remains Committed to Liverpool
In a surprise turn of events, talkSPORT sources close to both Liverpool and Manchester City have denied reports that Luis Diaz has agreed to move to the Etihad Stadium. The news comes after shock claims from Spanish outlet El Chiringuito that the Colombia international had agreed a five-year contract with the Premier League champions in a £60 million transfer.
However, talkSPORT understands that these reports are wide off the mark, and Liverpool have no intention of selling the winger. Diaz, who has been with the Reds since January 2022, has expressed his commitment to the club and his desire to continue winning trophies at Anfield.
