Salford City Secure Striker Cole Stockton for Two-Year Deal

In a significant move for the upcoming football season, Salford City have announced the signing of Burton Albion striker Cole Stockton. The 30-year-old forward, who honed his skills in the youth ranks of Tranmere, has agreed to a two-year contract with the Ammies.

Stockton’s impressive career statistics speak volumes, with over 100 goals in 440 games, predominantly for Tranmere and Morecambe. His standout performances proved crucial, as he helped Morecambe secure promotion in the 2020-21 season and was subsequently named in the League One Team of the Season the following year, having scored 23 goals.
