In a move to bolster their defensive lineup, Shrewsbury Town have secured the season-long loan of Aston Villa centre-back Josh Feeney. The 19-year-old prodigy, who has represented England at the Under-16, Under-17, and Under-18 levels, is set to make his mark in the upcoming EFL League One campaign.
Feeney, who has yet to make his first-team debut for Aston Villa, gained valuable experience last season by featuring in three EFL Trophy games for the club’s Under-21 side. This loan move to Shrewsbury Town provides the young defender with an opportunity to showcase his talent and gain crucial playing time.
