In a crucial Euro 2024 Group C clash, former England striker Darren Bent believes Harry Kane should be given one more chance to start for the Three Lions against Slovenia. Bent, co-host of talkSPORT Drive, has revealed his preferred lineup for Gareth Southgate’s side, aiming to address the team’s recent lack of attacking threat.
“You’ve got to pick Kane,” Bent told talkSPORT.com. “I’d give him one more chance. At some point, if his performances carry on how they have been, which is not the usual Harry Kane, you’d have to look at a change.”

On the wings, Bent would start Bukayo Saka on the right and give a debut to Chelsea’s Cole Palmer on the left, with Kane leading the line.
