Football News Update: West Ham Sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United
In a significant transfer move, West Ham United have secured the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United. The 26-year-old defender, who hails from Croydon, London, has agreed to a seven-year contract with the Hammers.
Wan-Bissaka, who made 190 appearances for Manchester United over the past five seasons after joining from Crystal Palace in 2019, expressed his excitement about the move.
“It’s an amazing feeling to be back in London, and I’m excited for what’s coming. I was born here, and I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big part in my life, so to be back playing in this city means a lot to me.”
The defender added,

West Ham’s technical director, Tim Steidten, praised the signing, stating,

He’s played over 170 Premier League games during his career, so he knows the division inside-out.”
In other football news, Wolves defender Hugo Bueno has joined Dutch top-flight side Feyenoord on a season-long loan. The 21-year-old Spaniard made his Wolves debut in 2022 and played 48 times for the club across all competitions. Feyenoord will be competing in the upcoming Champions League season after finishing second in the Eredivisie.
