Mikey Moore’s Record-Breaking Contract
The 16-year-old forward has agreed to sign his first professional contract with the north London club, set to be finalized on his 17th birthday this Sunday. The three-year deal will be the longest contract allowed by FIFA regulations for players under 18, as Spurs look to fend off interest from several top European clubs, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.
Mikey Moore’s Impressive Rise
Moore, a highly-rated prospect from the Tottenham academy, has already made an impact on the first-team, becoming the club’s youngest-ever Premier League player after making his debut against Manchester City last May. The young striker has continued to impress during Spurs’ pre-season campaign, scoring crucial goals against Hearts, Vissel Kobe, and a Japanese youth international side.
