Football News: Sky Sports Announces Landmark EFL Coverage for 2023/24 Season

In a historic move for football broadcasting, Sky Sports has unveiled its plans for comprehensive coverage of the upcoming EFL season. Beginning on Friday, August 9th, every game from the opening weekend across the Championship, League One, and League Two will be streamed live on the newly-launched Sky Sports+.

The opening weekend fixtures promise to be must-watch events for football fans. Highlights include the Championship clash between Leeds United and Portsmouth, the League One battle between Wrexham and Wycombe Wanderers, and the League Two encounter between Chesterfield and Swindon Town.

Throughout the 2023/24 season, Sky Sports+ will broadcast over 1,000 EFL matches, ensuring that each team features in more than 20 live televised games – all at no extra cost to Sky Sports subscribers.

Saturday, August 10th, will see a full slate of fixtures across the three EFL divisions, all available live on Sky Sports+.
